Join The Accelerator’s Mission to Bring Fashion Manufacturing Back to the Mid-Hudson Valley!
Do you have a functioning sewing machine or shoe-making equipment that you no longer use and would like to donate back to the community? The Accelerator, Powered by the Orange County IDA, is looking for used machinery in decent working condition that will be utilized by local artisans in our fashion manufacturing pods. Your donation can assist in our mission of bringing fashion manufacturing back to the region!
Sewing machines do not need to be brand specific, but should be no more than 50 years old. Additionally, we are looking for the following equipment:
- Clicking machine – #15 ton – single phase
- Sole sewing machine
- Leather skiving machine
- Leather splitter machine
- Zig zag sewing machine
- Sole presser machine
- Grinding machine
- Burnishing/finishing wheels
- Sole/outsole stitching machine
